4th of july

i love celebrating the 4th of july with friends and family! thanks mom and dad for hosting!

amanda had a brilliant idea to have the kids roll down the street in their first parade. it was hysterical! a couple of the neighbors came out to watch and cheer us on. i think we started a new tradition.

every kid was given a gorgeous gift basket(bucket), filled with bubbles, blow up balls, horn-whistles, candy and a rubber ducky. thank you to jessica and amanda for making those! the kids were thrilled!

the fourth of july would not be complete without sparklers. not sure that isaac was a fan, but it could've had something to do with the fact that stew kept saying "ouch."

once the kids were in bed, stew and i watched the legoland fireworks from our bedroom. it was such a great day!
