memorial day weekend (sunday)

we started the day off with grammy, grandpa and friends at legoland.

lazy river time

my dad was in charge of following isaac all morning. we gave him an A and not just for effort. isaac ran him all over. my dad could barely walk to the car as were leaving. good job dad!

ryder hung with grammy. it was his first time to the water park and he too is a fan.

it was a beautiful day, the water was warm and i actually remembered to wear my suit so i could enjoy it all.

daniel and matt hit the water slide a few times.

grandpa and isaac watched the older kids ride around the lazy river.

these characters found the big foam legos. they were thrilled to spend some time building.

the boys loved having grammy and grandpa there. they are such a huge help to me!!

we were all ready for a nap before kicking off the night festivities.

after naps we gathered at the ermanis house for dinner.

auntie was there

ryder, well, he went to the block party with grammy and grandpa so that i could take it easy with one kid.

stew is in mexico with our church this weekend. we were so sad to not have him with us, but are looking forward to great stories from his trip. life is never as good without him. the boys and i took a vote and as it turns out he is all of our favorite. glad he returns tonight.

opening day

legoland's water park opened on may 28th and we were some of their first guests. isaac had been talking about going to the water park ALL WEEK! it surpassed our expectations!

issac's first time down the water slide. yes, next time i will be wearing a suit, but there was no way i was missing the first time isaac took on a water slide.

we will probably be spending many days at this water park. it is a toddlers heaven.

another week flew by

the laforges were in town and it was great to catch up.

ryder was pretty impressed with clara's bubble blowing skills.

isaac's end of the pre-school year pizza party. we laughed since he had only be in "school" for 3 months.

thursday night we had steak at the montgomerys. it was fabulous! the boys had a blast running around and jumping on couches.

max met us at legoland for a morning of adventure.

this character was in heaven with the warm weather and water all around. it didn't hurt that we ran into several other friends at legoland today.

as i was taking a picture of gigi and kenzie, isaac jumped in the middle of the shot. what can i say, he's a shy kid.

my mom and aunt joined us at legoland for a morning of climbing.

i don't think isaac stopped moving the entire time.

i always forget to take the boys to this part of the park.

ryder was excited he got to climb by himself.

sunday evening we headed to mark and katie's to celebrate mark(pictured above) and matt's graduation. let's hear it for a masters! congrats!
