disneyland

 

my aunt bonnie decided we all needed a trip to disneyland and the boys were thrilled! my aunt took us all to disneyland to celebrate both isaac's 6 week post op and ryder's 4th birthday! we left asher behind. but not to worry, grandma chris took him for a fun day at legoland.

our first ride was cars. ryder was just shy of the height limit and wasn't all that interested in waiting. allison, isaac and i waited for the cars ride while the rest of our crew headed on to many other rides. both boys seemed to have a blast as we texted each other pictures:)

 

1.5 hours later it was our turn for the ride. no joke, they shut it down due to technical difficulties. fortunately, it was up and running 25 minutes later. < please note the picture below. isaac had NEVER been on a "roller coaster" or anything too fast. allison and i had tears in our eyes as we watched isaac's face as we whipped around corners and jetted up and down. at the end he said, "it was a little bit scary." it was a riot!

we had so much fun! what a treat to spend the day celebrating. thank you auntie! we felt spoiled... all of us!
