the james' are visiting from oregon for christmas. we met up with them in san clemente and got to meet their sweet boy, jack for the first time. our boys were huge fans of their new friend. we walked around a bit before eating huge portions at a local mexican food spot. towards the end of dinner annie mentioned sprinkles cupcakes and the next thing you know we were on our way to costa mesa for a taste. the night was complete once we made it to the southcoast plaza mall tree and greeted santa. it's always good to be with old friends.
avila's el ranchito mexican restaurant was a hit!
the boys had their first taste of a true cupcake from sprinkles. if you ever visit this place with annie, don't expect to share her cupcakes.
