sometimes you just gotta hang some lights, put out the chairs and have a few friends over. our backyard is usually full of children running and playing, but for the night it was just the moms. it was needed.
and it was good.
but, my boys wanted to have a party with the lights too! so, the next night we had a sending off party for my mom and aunt. of course a glass broke so stew spent a lot of the time cleaning that mess up. for the record we broke more glass that week than i want to think about. the upside is we have scrubbed our floors, cleaned all counters, fridge and swept the backyard.
