4th of july

it was a good 4th of july... 

we joined some friends for a neighborhood parade, fire truck included!

can you tell our kids were stoked?!

 
 we decided (a bit last minute) to have some friends over to play and celebrate america's birthday!

 we might've over done the water slide.

 and our boys were ready for another go at a parade!

after all had gone home and our boys were asleep, i stepped outside to find this view!  i had to show the boys!  unfortunately they couldn't keep their eyes open to see them.  next year!
