stew spent the weekend at forest home at our all church retreat. last year we all went on the retreat and to say it didn't go well would be an understatement. the boys cried the whole way there and then stayed up all night crying on the hour. stew almost packed us up to head home at 2 am, but we held out. in the morning we found out we had done an A+ job at keeping up every other family around us. once we managed to get home we found out that isaac had the swine flu and ryder was teething. needless to say, this year i stayed home with the boys and stew headed out alone.
it worked out that my aunt could come down and help me play with the boys . it was a good weekend for all, including stew.
a little time at legoland
we joined my parents at UTC for a little train time. much to my surprise the boys PICKED ME to join them on the train. i never get picked so i was feeling pretty special. never mind the fact that we all had a good laugh as i squeezed into this little train. a little humiliation was well worth the ride with my two favorite little hunk monkeys.
