mud run

this past saturday joy and i ran the del mar mud run(thanks for talking me into it, joy!)!  i was actually a little nervous.  i thought it was a casual run with a little mud until i picked up my bib and saw that the course had TWENTY obstacles!  fortunately the morning of, joy and i found ourselves surrounded by YOUNG twenty somethings, out for a good time.  we were laughing at the fact that we were on a time crunch in order to take a shower after the race and make it to a two year old birthday party.  my how times have changed.  next year we're getting a group together to run it.  honestly, it was a lot of fun!  join us!
